Woman from Tokyo - Ted the Mechanic - Mary Long - Lazy - Child In Time (Gillan: "written especially for you") - The Aviator (Roger and Steve provided backing vocals) - No One Came (very tight) - Well Dressed Guitar (introduced by Gillan as "Well dressed security guy!") - Fools / Perfect Strangers, (Don's solo intro included some Russian musical specialities and bits of classical, Paice conducted Don with drumsticks!) - When A Blind Man Cries (awesome) - Smoke on The Water - Speed King (extended solo by Roger and drum solo featuring Paicey's tricks including the famous one handed drum roll.) Encores: Hush - Black Night (weird & intriguing long intro) - Highway Star.
(no Up The Wall). The show was 2 hrs 10 mins in length. AG

March 20th, 2002. Ice Arena, Belgorod.

Pretty much the same programme for the band in Belgorod, including a 20 minute press-conference (see photo right) complete with the traditional questions and answers. The gig was once again a sell-out. As far as I know the set list was the same as in St.Petersburg and Moscow, with the crowd going totally mad.

The local authorities took the event very seriously and the mayor invited the band to a reception / dinner in their honour.   AG
