27th April 2008 Club Reigen, Vienna

To celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Deep Purple history, some Mk1 songs are due to be performed! The opening act are "Nasty Habits" from Vienna.

'The Carlo Little Night of Honour' tribute show played at York House, Richmond on 26th March 2006 has been released as a double DVD set. The musicians include Nick Simper with the Good Old Boys, as well as Dick Taylor & Phil May (The Pretty Things), Wee Willie Harris, Mick Avory (The Kinks), and the late Art Wood. Nick Simper's band Good Old Boys made a rare trip to Vienna in Austria for a show on May 25th 2007 at the REIGEN Club. Chris Schoen reports that "the show was really amazing, one of the best gigs I've ever seen. They played an enthuiastic set of rock´n`roll, while the audience danced and sang." There was also a surprise for the fans, when Nick played 'Hush' for the frst time in over thirty years, backed by the Good Old Boys and support act Nasty Habits.

The Good Old Boys are next playing at The Horns, Watford on Saturday, June 2nd 2007.
